I live in two very different worlds striving to do the same thing; helping people get better. I will do my best to give more of the ups rather than the downs of lab/academic life and my time on the ambulance/med school training, but at times there will be rants on the less than pleasant aspects. Life is both the good and the bad, what matters is what you take away from both.

Guess what I did today!
This actually went really well! Bonus points to anyone who can tell me what this 'event' was!
START triage? based partly on the limited amoung visible on the card and the colours of ribbons :) (interestingly enough, some of the other triage systems use blue)

ReplyDeleteYup! Despite working in multiple states, I have only ever used START. What are the other triage systems out there and where are they used?
DeleteSurprisingly, I did this with kids that had no EMS experience and they did really well! (minus the overacting).
Any suggestions for fun patient vital signs? I need to add more to my collection.
